AGFC has installed new water gauges at Adams Lake and Palarm Creek.

Additional ones will be installed at Caney Creek, Pierce Creek and Lawrence Landing

  This will assist in identifying areas approaching flood stage so the gates may be opened to reduce the flooding in the low lying areas.

Heavy rains and runoff from the City of Conway and all the tributaries will always cause the potential for flooding .

A natural spillway is the only solution to the frequent flooding on Lake Conway.
