Background: 

Mr. Tom Eans was one of the many victims of the recent extensive flooding of Lake Conway home owner's properties.  This recent event along with other issues concerning the quality of life, recreation and property values prompted Tom to suggest to his neighbor, Bill Miller, the formation of an Association to address these problems.   Contact was made with Robert Melton, whose home had damage from the flood and subsequently other nearby residents joined the group.  A provisional committee consisting of Tom, Robert, Bill, Jim Fugatt and Hayden Baldwin was formed  to discuss the feasibility of this project.  It was decided to promote the concept of forming an association of home owners and to convene a meeting of others who would be interested in this project. 

LCHOA is just beginning. We have a long way to go. We need volunteers for committees, we need competent officers, and we need communication with all home owners in the 100 year flood plain around Lake Conway.

We need your help.

On June 12th LCHOA became official after the quorum present at the meeting voted and unanimously passed the By-Laws and Election of the Officers.

ZONES/ LEADERS

The following defines boundaries for 12 zones identified in the Lake Conway area. Each zone should have a Leader who may select helpers to facilitate passing information to LCHOA Officers/ Committees & members. The Leader also should recruit new members, identify problems in their zone and relay information passed by either the web site or other means concerning meetings and actions being taken to better the living and recreational conditions and property values in and around Lake Conway. Preferably, although not necessary, the Leader should have internet access to be able to receive and pass information quickly.

ZONE 1. PARADISE - LEADER

From rte 365, Paradise, E. Ridge Road, streets off Paradise & Trails End, N & S Dogwood

ZONE 2 JACKSON -LEADERS_ Larry Hill & Robert Melton

Jackson, Mallard, Roberts, N & S Deer Ln, Robin & Susanne, Fuller north to but not including Rosemary Ln or Imperial Ln.

ZONE 3 LAWRENCE -LEADER _

From of Rosemary Ln and Imperial Ln , N to and including Lawrence Landing fishing access (Lawrence Landing Road) and all contiguous streets from the lake on the E to Rte365 on the W

ZONE 4 GOLD CREEK -LEADERS_ Roger Allred  & Bill Duke

From Lawrence Landing Road on the S to the Lake (Gold Lake) on the N, & all contiguous roads from the Lake on the E to the mouth of Gold Creek (RR bridge) on the W.

ZONE 5 BRANNON -LEADER_

Area bounded S by Gold Lake (the Lake), E by the Lake, on the N by S Amity Road, W by Sturgis Hill Road to include all contiguous streets & roads.

ZONE 6 CANEY - LEADER_ Jim Aldridge

Area bounded W by Amity Rd & the Lake, N by Rte 286, E by & including Skunk Hollow Rd, S to include all contiguous roads off Caney Creek, Foothill Drive, Madrid, Aldridge and Waterfront Cove.

ZONE 7 CAMP -LEADER

Area bounded N & E by Rte 286, W by Skunk Hollow Rd, S by the Lake to Palarm Creek.

ZONE 8 PALARM -LEADER

Area bounded N by Palarm Creek, W by the Lake, E by Rte 286 & Clinton Rd and S to a line N of Canterberry Point Drive. Includes all contiguous roads off Palarm Creek Rd.

ZONE 9 ADAMS -LEADER - Ralph Ball 

Area bounded N by the end of Canterberry Point Drive. E by the Lake, W by Clinton Road and S by and including Adam Lake Road. Includes contiguous roads off Adams Lake Road.

ZONE 10 DIX -LEADER

Area bounded N by , but not including Adam Lake Road, W by the Lake, E by Clinton Road, S by the Lake (Pierce Creek), but not including Hwy 89.

ZONE 11 PIERCE/HWY-89 LEADER

Area bounded N by Lake (Pierce Creek), E by Clinton Road, S by and including Hwy 89,W by Bridge at Mayflower City Limits and all contiguous streets/roads.

ZONE 12 DAM -LEADER_

Area bounded E by Mayflower City limits bridge, N by the Lake, S by Bell Slough (State Wildlife Management Area), W by Rte 365 including all contiguous roads & streets.
